Repaired tarps had small less than 1 in tears that where professionally sealed and waterproofed also a great bargin. We use gear aid products for proper long lasting repairs. The tarps are also havd new polyurethane spray added fixing any stickiness and waterproofed.

Fair issued the PU coating may be slightly degraded or have small pieces missing useable put in well used condition 

Damaged have small holes and heavey polyurethane degradation so its sticky . Water based spar urethane spray can create a new coating if restoring them and saving you alot of money for an easy fix!

Heavier than a poncho these things are gold!
I have used mine as a ground clothe, a tarp for my tent during the tail end of a typhoon (seriously) and an impromptu roof on my old Bronco when it started raining.
